I’ve got Spybot, AVG, Zonealarm, and yet this Zlob downloader is appearing on startup. Something is also trying to prevent mrt.exe from being run on startup. I’ve prevented the autorun from being removed, but something is definitely there. Done housecall check and nothing present either. Help!!!
spybot should detect and remove zlob, maybe your spybot needs an update? if that doesn’t help, you should consider trying another antispyware. you can find free antispywares here http://www.2-spyware.com/compare2.php

you say zlob keeps coming back, maybe some program you consider non-malicious keeps re-installing it? have you installed new toolbar, emoticons, fileshare program or similar stuff recently? these things may come with malware.

1. Install CCleaner, but do NOT run it.
2. reboot your computer to Safe Mode (on reboot, keep tapping F8 key until u see a menu, choose Safe Mode)
3. In safe mode, run SmitFraudFix, then HiJackThis, and finally run CCleaner.
4. Reboot computer, and ur set. =)
