Vundo Removal
How to Remove WinFixer / Virtumonde / Msevents / Trojan.vundo.http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t…
Tools needed for this fix:
* Vundo Fix
* VirtumundoBegone (if VundoFix does not work)
There is also a rootkit form of Vundo. See web page below.
Malware Removal: Virtumundohttp://wiki.castlecops.com/Malware_Remov…
This procedure is to remove Adware-Virtumundo (Vundo).Winfixer /WinAntiSpyware / WinAntiVirus and Adware-Virtumundo are not one and the same. Persistent WinAntiSpyware or WinAntiVirus popups which pester the user to purchase the program, are indicative of Adware-Virtumundo or a Vundo infection, for short, but it is also possible to have the program Winfixer program and its successors installed without Vundo accompanying it.
Rootkit Removers
Pick any 2 install and run one each month.

What you're gonna have to do first is NOT format your hard disk. cuz if u do this is a big inconvenience. Follow these easy steps if you don't mind tearing apart your com. I will be using AVG & Windows Defender for this guide.
1. get an external usb hard disk case for your hard disk.
2. Have another computer with a fully updated and reliable antivirus ready. I recommend AVG antivirus free edition with windows defender for spyware.
3. Remove the hard disk from your computer and install it into your hard disk case. plug the now external hard disk into your other computer. It should reconize your external hard disk as another drive.
4. Now open AVG and click "Test Center" right underneath the AVG logo. Click "Scan Selected Areas". To ensure you have set up your scan correctly click Tests>Selected areas test settings. Under file extensions select "scan all files" then click ok. Now select your hard disk and start the scan.
5. now open Windows Defender. under Scan click "custom scan" from the drop-down menu. select your hard disk and start the scan.
6. once both scan are completed AVG will automatically remove anything while you will have to tell Defender to remove whatever it finds. once that's done, remove the hard disk from the case and replace it in your computer. it should now be clean.

Yeah, but then you also lose everything else on the drive. You should try Trend Micro ( http://housecall.trendmicro.com ); you don't even have to install anything.

Pray no just kidding now you have 2 options either you can reformat your hard drive which doesn't hurt but is a pain in the butt. or go to www.trendmicro.com and use housecall for free personally I would do that first and if that doesn't work reformat and make sure you have a firewall if you reformat so it doesn't happen again.
