It’s a free online virus scanner. In the future, Avast ( http://avast.com ) is a *free* antivirus program that is excellent (on par with paid ones) that protects you from viruses and spyware. I use it myself and haven’t gotten a virus in 8 years

I don’t think there is anyway to remove a virus once it is on your computer without software, but you can go to norton.com and download a free trial and it should remove it if you do a virus scan. If it doesn’t though you will probably have to call the company that makes your computer for help.
