Do you have a virus scan program? You should just run a virus scan, and it will detect it and get rid of it.

install spybot search and destroy . install the latest updates and run a system scan . it’ll detect the virus and remove it .

I got one of them once, COOL SEARCH or COOL SITES, COOL something or other. Any way I ended up reformatting the hard drive. That got rid of it along with everything else.
Yes, its a bit radical but your computer really runs fast when you clean all the JUNK out of it.

Yes, the info was correct – you do need to turn off your system restore. The info you were given is spot on! The only thing I would add is to reboot at the end and turn system restore back on.
