My computer all of a sudden is full of spyware. Dont know how it got on there, but I cant seem to get it off. I am running spysweeper and ghostsurf spycatcher, and I keep scanning and quarantining the threats, but the software wont let me remove the spyware, and it keeps letting more spyware in, despite a new firewall and new encryption software. I just want this stuff off my computer. It makes the computer extremely slow and unresponsive.
Download the Yahoo Toolbar and then get Yahoo Anti Spy. My computer was infected with spyware and Yahoo Anti Spy got rid of it in approxamately 41 seconds and it also checks for tracking cookies too!
If you decide to go with a different program, make sure you don’t run two firewalls at once as it could crash your computer.
Also, try disconnecting to the internet when not in use to prevent it from spreading and when using the internet run your computer in “Safe Mode w/ Networking”

I reccomming using Spybot and Adaware to keep you PC clean from spyware.
No single program can detect and eradicate all spyware which is why I recommend using Ad-aware and Spybot (they are free and the best). Other great free anti-spyware programs would be AVG Anti-spyware (formally Ewido) and Super Anti-spyware.
Webroot Spy Sweeper is the best, but it’s not free (see the Consumer Search source for reviews of the best anti-spyware programs).
Running these programs in Safe Mode (tap F8 after powering on the computer and choose to boot to Safe Mode) can be more effective.
Those are cheap solutions and don’t get rid of spyware or Viruses very well. Download Onecare for Windows (Trial) Zonealarm (Demo), or buy ESET Reccomended, try the demos first I reccomend buying one of these. FYI free stuff doesn’t protect You.

SuperAntiSpyware is exceptional and will remove the majority of difficult Trojans and Worms, not just the easy ones.
If possible it is recommended that you load the application in normal mode but run it in Safe Mode. Safe Mode can be started by continually pressing F8 during the boot sequence. However, if you are badly infected you might need to run SuperAntiSpyware more than once to help clean your system. If the only infections now being shown are in System Restore, once you are completely satisfied that you can boot normally, you can either delete the infected restore points manually, or temporarily turn off System Restore.
Assuming you have some real awkward infections and the suggestions above failed to totally clean your system I suggest you download a Smitfraud removal program from:http://www.afterdawn.com/software/deskto…
Again if possible run in Safe Mode.
