My computer contracted these viruses yesterday and i would like to know how i can destroy these damn things without having to format my hard drive.

you can download the removal tools, but spybot s&d will remove them as well as well as any more baddies that are camping out on your drive… might also want to run avg

I had the Smitfraud and was given some good advice. Like mentioned above . . get the smitfraud fix (free online). Mine smitfraud also came with a zlob. An awesome antispy program is ’superantispyware’ (also free online).
Once the smitfraud fix takes off the ’smitfraud’ virus then you can get the rest of the crap off. Reboot the computer and when the computer starts to reload tap the F8 button continuously – this will give you an option to start in ’safe mode.’ When the options come up make sure to pick ’safe mode’ (don’t pick the networking safe mode).
Once in safe mode run your antispy ware and your virus scan. Windows also has a ‘defender’ program that is awesome – the ‘defender’ program is what actually got rid of my zlob. Some viruses need to be inactive to be removed – ’safe mode’ keeps them inactive. Best of luck dude!!
