Are you sure its a virus?
Run an antivirus program (If there is a virus this will most likely find it)
Try the free version of kaspersky.
Make sure you check your resolution settings.
    In Vista this is how:
Right click desktop > Personalize> Display settings
Slide the resolution bar to higher to make everything smaller.
Another thing is it could be DPI Setting set to large.
    Right click desktop > Personalize
On the left sidebar says “Adjust Font Size (DPI)
Click and switch to default to make smaller.

I would first try to update your video-card drivers by going to Start/right-click My Computer/Properties/Hardware tab/Device Manager button/expand Sound, Video and Game controllers section/right-click each video-related item and choose Update Driver…
If you know the name of the specific .dll file of interest, you can find more information about it by doing a search of the X-Ray My PC database:
    http://www.xraymypc.com/process/A/
Also it s a good idea to scan your computer with their free scanner that identifies all processes, even hidden ones that are running on your machine and their security risks. You can download it for free from their xraymypc.com Web site as well:

The fastest and most cost efficient way is to download anti-virus and anti-spyware software over the Internet. Finding malware is very difficult if you try to do it manually. Even if you manage to find them, it probably would be very hard to fix the problem since they would infect a file on your PC that might be too important to get rid of. In that case, the only way to remove that virus would be to use cleaning and removal software to repair the file.
This type of software download will allow you to run a full scan through your system to detect any errors and faults. Once it finds erroneous files, it will quarantine them to request permission from you before the removal program attempts to delete or repair the file. All you have to do is click the Repair button and all these malicious files should be destroyed quickly.
You can download the AVG and it is free!
