A Trojan virus is faulty computer program that can infect remote computers by changing the desktop or deleting important files. Generally called a Trojan Horse, it appears as a legitimate file or software from a trusted source, therefore tricking users into opening it or downloading it. I would contact your Virus software people first as it may be a false positive. You might try renaming it also and see if there is any advese effects if your A/V can’t quarantine it.
I certainly would not remove it though until I knew exactly what it is. I would try searching the drive for it and see if you can figure out what folder it is in. It may yeild some clue as to where it came from.
