It may not be a worm at all. It could be dust build up on the fans causing your computer to overheat. It could be a faulty power supply. I would go and get some canned air and clean out the inside of your computer.

that is the blaster virus you just need to update really or read blaster worm articles like above and find out how to remove it if you cant update

Good luck, I fixed it by – well lets just say Im enjoying my new computer, it was time to upgrade anyway.
If this is the kind of worm I’m thinking of, you can cancel the shutdown sequence if you’re quick enough:
- Click the Start button then select the Run… option.
- In the box that pops up type “shutdown -a” (without the quotes) and this should abort the shutdown sequence allowing you to carry on disinfecting the machine.
It’s worth noting that the exploit in Windows that allowed these worms to do this was fixed years ago, you’re obviously not keeping Windows up to date which is why you’re ending up this situation. Run Windows Update more often if you don’t want this kind of hassle.

reinstall ur operationg system in boot mode, when u first turn on ur computer have the disc already in and then push f4 or f6 i dont remember but a menu will come up and then enter boot cd from d drive, boot it and then reinstall ur system… ur files are completely lost…… unless u get a new hard drive…
